KitchenAid Ductless Downdraft Kit in Stainless Steel Fits Models KSEG950ESS and KSDG950ESS. This ductless downdraft kit provides the consumer a couple of venting options when installing the unit in their home. Normally, the air is ducted from the blower to the outside of the home. Because of certain installation limitations on ductwork, or by customer request, this ductless kit offers a solution to return the air back into the living area of the home. The blower sits below the units which captures and pulls air down from above the cooktop to remove steam, smoke particulates and smells from the cooking area. The kit contains a filter housing that attaches to the blower under the unit. The housing holds a filter to "clean" the air before re-entering the living space.
